Happy anniversary mi amor! Yep, yep. A whole entire year has passed since the day I was wed to my beloved. It's hard to grasp the thought of how quickly time is spent. We have had an amazing year together. So many people say "the first year is the hardest." I don't know if this is true yet because it's only been a year, but if this was the hardest, the rest will be bliss! Yeah, wait till we have kids, right? Haha. I can imagine. But my point is that God has been as faithful as ever to pour his blessing into my life and Jason is, well...the sweetest expression of God's love to me now. It is an awe inspiring privilege to daily know this man, to receive his love, his provision, his care, his sensitivity, his encouragements, his support, and so so much more. It's a challenge to be faced with the decision of whether or not I will die to myself daily, hourly, minutely for him, and it is a decision I am sure I will be faced with for the rest of my life but there is no other man I would rather do it for. A toast, of sparkling cider, for the years to come.

Chapter 1 - One year and a Lifetime to go
Here's what we did to celebrate: We stayed at a really quaint historic hotel with a view of several parks and museums. It was awesome to take a day to relax and stroll around to our heart's content. We went to a theatre that has gold painted on the walls. I was impressed. I had a stare down with a statue and she beat me, but only by a hair. I saw her almost crack a smile, which made me laugh and I lost. Oh well. Beware of daring me to a stare down though. I will win. Oh yes, I just said that and I mean it. Ahaha. It was a lovely celebration of a first year. Oh, I almost forgot that we went to see Shrek 3 at a VIP theatre. VIP meaning that you sit in a leather lazyboy chair, prop your feet all the way up, and enjoy the movie while waiters bring your oder of food and drink...all this for the less than what it costs to see a movie at any ole' place in the states. Ah yes. Life is good. So now you know. We had our first anniversary and we had fun having it. Now to chapter 2...
