Greetings. I know I've left you hanging on the outcome of the trip but there is a lot to tell and I am still working on sorting out my thoughts. Coming soon though! Very soon. We have come safely down down from the sky and thought we were settling back into routine, but realised it was time to celebrate this country's independence day. Yey! The cool thing is that it also happens to be the independence day of my birthplace so I celebrate alongside them. The festivities are really cool here! I wish we had some pictures but we thought about the camera too late. I DO, however, have pictures of what we ate today, a simple, yet patriotic meal to commemorate the great thing that is living in a free country. I hope you Latinos' mouths water at the sight of the typical simple meal and exquisite frothy Horchata. Mmmmmm. Anyone who lives in a free country, which I hope is true of everyone reading this, should not take lightly their freedom. I guess when we are kids we are more mezmerised with fireworks, smoky-flavored food from the grill, and getting off from school, when in reality, it is a BLESSING from God that we can live and breath freely without dictation of what we must do. Most importantly of all, I am coming to realize, is my freedom to worship my God, the one and only true and living God. What a gift! I do not face any physical persecution, I do not face imprisonment, and I can read the Book my heart longs daily to know without reserve. Let us not take our freedom lightly, but rather praise God for allowing us the priviledge to love him openly. Te amo mi Dios! I wish you all a lovely day filled with a deep sense of God's presence.

Sarita Linda,
Can hardly wait to read about some of the blessings you experienced with Jason on your trip. You're such a good writer, I know the stories are going to be poignant, and knowing God like I do, I know He has some awesome things to share with us through you. Take your time, but tell us all the goodies!!!
Gee, Mom! You didn't tell me that Sarah was poignant!! Congratulations Sweetheart! When is your next shower?
