Lots of Firsts

Is that not THE cutest picture you have ever seen? But then of course if you have your own children you probably think not. Cuteness is in the eye of the beholder, and this beholder is enchanted. He is our sweet snuggle bunny. I’m sure if he knew what that meant right now he would balk at the compliment, but we love to snuggle with him and he loves it back! Jason continues to be the best dad and husband he could possibly be and I continue to admire and enjoy Laggin Luka, as we now call him, as well as become more frazzled and exhausted as each day goes by. God is blessing us in so many exciting ways and I am very grateful for this new experience in our lives.

So. For the Firsts. Luka wailed through his first bath, thoroughly enjoyed his first stroller ride, as seen above, and behaved like an angel on his first full day out and about from the house. Yesterday was a long and exhausting day as we had to go to the city an hour away to have the doctor check on my oh so sore stitches, register Luka for his birth certificate, get his heel pricked for some disease detecting test, among a zillion other errands we needed to get done. We were there all day and then as soon, and I mean as SOON as we finally got home had a visitor waiting to meet the New One. Then we were off again to meet with a mission team for supper. Yeah. Bleeeeeh right? We’re paying for it today too because Luka has been fussy all day, but he was an angel yesterday and I am grateful for that. Okay, enough of the really uninteresting details. It’s just that all of this is what my days consist of now, so that is what I have to write. Now for the cream….pictures.

His first bathAh. Much better, thankyouverymuch.

Laggin Luka's first time in his bouncy seat. He's a lagger!

Bye

Sarah! He's beautiful! What a wondeful family you all make together!!! I so love his name and its meaning! Luka looks so big for a newborn! Long and lean! Not scwunchy like most! :)

Congratulations, felicidades, may God continue to bless you and keep you as I know He will with a family as committed to love and service as is yours!
