Rub a dub tub

Bath time! Play time! All in one. The Wee One has discovered that bath time can also mean play. Or splash. Or splish. Or drench Momma. Any of the above describe our daily routine. Some suggest that babies should not be bathed every day as this strips them of good bacteria on their bodies which help them form antibodies. I believe this and attempted to bathe him every other day after he was born. I forgot that the "some" that suggest the fewer baths a week live in nice, pristine, air-conditioned, Unites States of America houses. Not hot, dusty, humid insect-infested Central America houses. All it took to change my mind was a few sticky embraces and whiffs of stinky baby skin. I had no idea sweet, perfect baby skin could smell so bad. Anyways, so a bath every day it is. And he does smell oh so sweet! I love baby skin...

How could a baby get any "funner" to look at? I can hardly wait for the first installment of the "Luka and Friends" series.
