And the two become one...

Yaaag! I have so much to share, so many pictures, so many thoughts, and a few stories. But because most people love a good wedding, I will start with that most lovely of days. The day. Honestly, I've been to some weddings where the depth of the love and affection between the couple is questionable, but there was none of that to be had at the Thompson ~ Daigle wedding. Pure love! Tenderness. Humility. Delight. And a lot of googly eyes. Even some tears in those sappy stares. The wedding was lovely in every way. The ceremony and vows sincere and solid. The joy in everyone's hearts felt to the tip of their toes. Danny and Lauren, pronounced husband and wife, sealed with a kiss...or two, blessed with prayers, good wishes and the cheerful congratulations from all. To describe in detail the beauty of the wedding would take six posts, so I will throw out a stream of words that made up part of the day, and you can let your imagination run wild:

Wild flowers * pink and green * farm land * Victorian house * large white tent * sunset * harp * flower fairies (girls) * petal ring around the bride and groom * dessert bar (yummm) * coconut cake * twinkling lights * first salsa dance in a gazebo * fireworks! * bonfire * Large tree backdrop with a swing * kisses * family * laughter * fun * beaming * hugs * well wishing * great video of bride and groom (with an embarrassing twist) * sparkler goodbye * nostalgia * sigh *

Danny and Lauren, we love you and are so happy for your marriage! May God bless you, and keep you and make His face shine on you. May there always be love, forgiveness, laughter, fun, humility, affection, like-mindedness, kindness, peace, gentleness, gracious words and service toward one another in your marriage, and may everything you do together be for the eternal glory of God. Congratulations!!!

The handsome Wee, all gussied up.

Grace and Mark came in from Arkansalsa...I mean, Arkansauce...or just plain Arkansas. It was so good to see you! Too short...too short.

The Thompson Brood. Dave, you were the only one missing and you were missed! At every single moment. I wish so badly that you could have been there. God bless you for remaining faithful to the calling you have received.

We showered them with birdseed as they kissed. Why? I don't know, but it was fun!

Two families united.
