On we go

Your journey through our travels has taken a bit longer than expected, no? Well, there are always bumps in the road. We have been very busy around these parts but blogs must go on and so here I am again. Sharing another peek into our fun family time...
Alas, it was time to say some goodbyes. Sniff, sniffles, sniff. There we were, out on the front lawn of Steve and Marisha's house and the cousins began, of their own accord, giving each other kisses. First Luka and Roma hugged and kissed, stood back, smiled at each other, then hugged and kissed again. I looked over at Anessa who had a desperate look on her face as if to say, "Wait, will I not get to kiss him too?" Within a split second Luka turned to kiss her too and her face broke out into a beaming smile. She rushed forward and the two little babies embraced and kissed, with a maturity bordering adulthood. It will forever be one of my most treasured memories of their time together.
Where were we off to now? Papo and Moma's house in Indianapolis! We spent a week there and oh what a week! Tio Mark quickly tickled his way into Luka's affections, and even now, weeks later, we ask Luka where Tio Mark is and he pipes up saying, "Mah? Mah!" Luka was loved on, spoiled rotten and I must say, so was I. Thank you Mom, Dad and "Mah" for loving on us and making our time with you special.

He is such a cuddler and I will take it for as long as he will dish it.

Sweet Moma, always growing in the Word.

A good morning, indeed.

He loved his good morning porch play in Papo and Moma's back yard. So did I! Comfy porch swing and perfect weather. What's not to enjoy?

No Wee, you are not Superman quite yet. All you need is a cape though, and you will surely take off.

Getting a free ride on Papo through a museum.

A free ride on Tio Mark too. Hmmm....now I know why he wants to be held so much...did I mention spoiled rotten?

I introduce to you the very live version of Calvin, from Calvin and Hobbes.
We need to get the Wee a little stuffed tiger...

Tio "Mah" the kite expert.
He makes them from scratch. So COOL!

One more post and the trip is over.

ALSO: Check out this link to meet the NEW Thompson family member. I missed meeting his gorgeousness by two weeks!!
