Princess Sarah

I have much to address today but first things first...and that would be me:

  • Sarah means "Princess" and today I am claiming that title to its full degree. Yes, today is my birthday and I am "one of those people" who absolutely adores birthdays and likes to make the most of them. So here is a little song I have been singing to myself all day long: (to the "Happy Birthday" tune) "Happy birthday to the prettiest-girl-in-the-world, I'm the best thing that ever-happened-to-the-universe, everybody loves and likes me, I'm the coolest of all." And evidently the humblest. Now I would hope you don't think that I actually believe all of those things, because if I maybe perhaps might believe it a little, I wouldn't own up to it. So just take it as a silly song that could one day be true. And it is a happy birthday. I woke up with two cute faces snoring in my view. Made the best pancakes ever for breakfast and lunch. Had about a billion well wishes waiting for me in my inbox. Received three big surprises from my husband and the Wee One (the coolest plant you ever saw, from Luka, a new future phone line and high speed, yes HIGH SPEED internet, and a relaxation massage gift certificate. All this and it is only 1:59 p.m. I have a lovely dinner to look forward to tonight and therefore arrive at my next point:
  • My life is blessed. Yeah, I encounter heartbreak (it seams to come pretty often lately), but if I sat down to write every single little and huge blessing God has poured into my life, well, frankly it would take a life time because He would continue blessing me as I wrote. And that's without catching up on all of the things He has blessed me with already. All joking aside, God really does treat me like His little Princess because in His heart that is what I am. That is what all of us are who know Him as Father. Well, unless you're a dude. Consider yourself a Prince.
  • Emma Grace, I did not forget to announce your birthday here on the blog on Sunday sweetheart. I tried to but our silly internet would not let me log onto the blogger. Te quiero un montononon y espero que pasaste un liiiiindo cumple! Besitos para ti!
  • Mom and Dad, Happy Anniversary! I'm sorry you only got to celebrate 12 anniversaries together without having to share the glory of the day with me. I hope you can forgive my intrusion and have an amazing celebration anyway. I love you both SO much and thank you for the excellent example of love and faithfulness you have given us all. Thank you for never letting hardships and differences destroy the love that God created in you for one another. You two are awesome.
  • Aaaaand....that's it.
  • Well maybe not. Come back sometime in the evening tomorrow and hopefully you will find evidence of the big new progress in Luka's world. I still can't stand your anticipation!
